Dan took today and Monday off.
When we are both at work, we usually ride in together. It is easier, since we work about five minutes apart. We still enjoy each other’s company enough to meet for lunch. Throughout the day, we will chat on gmail while taking care of our various tasks. It makes the day go quicker.
So, today Dan took the day off. The drive in was good. I got to listen to the radio, which we normally leave off while we are talking. I’ll read my book or call my mom at lunch time. But, I have only been here about an hour, and he isn’t there to talk to on chat. The day should be half over by now. Maybe my clock is wrong. Nope. It’s going to be a long, slow day.
And let’s not even discuss how this day off for him is a make up day for his having to work during our vacation…..
My friend hates that Hubs calls me from work just to say ‘hi’ or ‘I miss you’ or ‘I love you’. Her hubs won’t.She’s jealous and I’m sad for her.
thats so sweet! I didnt know he had to work during vacation. That sucks!
Awww, did you get Monday off too so at least you have a break too? Although sometimes I like to be off a day or two without my husband at home.
I don’t think you should spend that much time interacting with him. Why get attached?
MetalMom - See, Dan and I are like you guys. It always gets me when couples never spend time together, also. How does that marriage work?
Mel - Yes, it does. It’s still a point of contention with me.
VP - After being off for two weeks for California, I couldn’t take time off again.
Mr. Fab - At times, we are very attached.
Sweet.
