Late last night, the phone rang. It was about 10:30 p.m. Dan and I listened carefully to the answering machine, because it would either be a) a friend who calls late, b) my mom, or c) wrong number. Well, it turned out to be d).
Our neighbor who had the alarm incident the other night ended up in the hospital due. His lady friend, which I think is his friend with benefits - they have know each other since we moved in 9 years ago, had called us. Turns out that our neighbor had something going on, but they couldn’t figure out what. At first they thought stroke or seizure. But, since it wasn’t those, they wanted to do testing.
And to think, just the day before, we were hoping he wasn’t being held at gunpoint or something. I am hoping he is ok. He has always been a good neighbor to us.
I hope your neighbor is ok.
There is always something going down in your hood.
What was it??? Don’t keep us in suspense!!!
Wow! So was yesterday’s story about the open gararge door and spilled coffee a ruse? Maybe something more is going on.
does any of this have to do with the other emergency? seems…”fishy”..doncha think?
Good neighbors are hard to find these days. Hopefully he’ll be well on his way with a speedy recovery.
Nobody - He came home Saturday.
Mr. Fab - It’s a hub bub of activity!
Metalmom - I don’t know what it was, but when Dan offered to help him with anything, he asked Dan to take his colonoscopy test. ROFL
VP - No, I think that all happened also.
Beth - Seperate incidents. I think his friend took him to the hospital the next day.
Slick - Me too, especially since he uses his snow blower to clear our driveway.
Nah, really, though, he is a nice guy, and a great neighbor.
