The End

After a few years on Lynda’s Great Journey, and a few months on this blog, I have decided to call it quits. I haven’t been blogging as consistently as I use to, and for some reason, it just doesn’t appeal to me anymore. This is not to say I will never come back to blogging. I enjoy writing, and I have loved my time but for the moment, I am just burnt out.

I am amazed that I have been so consistent with my blogging, since my writing journals would have huge gaps in them. I attribute that partly to the great friends I have made over the years through this venue. I will miss you all.

Sorry to hear, your blogs will be missed… but I know what you mean about the loss of appeal. I find myself wondering what the heck I used to talk about when I blogged almost every day. I used to look forward to it so much and anymore I just, well, don’t. I need to at least wrap up my current “sagas” I guess and then we’ll see what happens from then on out. If you count the y!f board journal, I have been blogging since 2004.

Happy New Year Lynda, Maybe you will start writing childrens books for Calem and other kids. You are a good writer and I hope that someway you will continue to use that skill. You certainly did not get your writing skills from me.

You got me started in blogging with people other than my son. By you, I have been given :
1. My writing skills back- skills I didn’t even realized I’d lost..
2. The value of the written word.
3. The realization that the planet Earth is filled with unique, interesting people I previously thought were spear carriers from central casting in MY movie!
4. The fact that other people can make everyday occurences interesting, by the way they can tell a story…
5. The importance of being able to read, write, and pass knowledge and entertainment to many other people…
6. The fact that joy, sorrow, happiness, and sadness are all experiences not lived by me alone- but by all of us.

Well, you’ve had a good run, and been an admirable blogger. It’s ok to quit when you just aren’t enjoying it anymore. Of course, you’ll keep your accounts so you can read and comment and whatever if you want. Hang in there, and may 2008 be a healthy and happy one for you!
