I am at work yesterday, and I rub my nose only to find this bump near my cheek. I start obsessing about the bump: Is it a pimple? Is it from my rosacea? Is it really that large? At the last question, I pull out my mirror.
Then I notice a little bit of swelling on that same side. I ask Dan about it and he says he thinks my face looks normal. Well, of course it does to him, it isn’t his face. I mean, it isn’t that swollen, but it still seems a bit puffy. But, I just think nothing of it, and go about my day.
This morning, the bump went away, but it still feels kind of puffy. And there is now pressure in the sinus area, and behind my eye. Plus, there is goopy stuff in my throat. I tried to blow my nose this morning, but it didn’t seem to help. I rubbed my face a little and it felt like goop was under the slight swell, looking for a place to release itself. In fact, I think my eye might be a new secret weapon, because it feels like a mass of goopy stuff could shoot out of it at any moment!
But, I think I know what I have to do. I need to wait it out and see if the eye swells enough that I get to skip work. I need to probably take a Sudafed, and see if it clears up. But that doesn’t make it any less annoying!
and if the sudefed doesn’t work, you need to make a doctors appointment!

My rosacea has never done that! Hope it clears up!

Have you tried the Neti pot? It’s great for clearing the goop. And it works well with the Sudafed.
You can go to the doctor, but antibotics don’t always help with sinus infections. The Neti Pot with the Sudafed does. Try that first before spending time and money on something that won’t work.
