My brother is probably one of the luckiest person in the world. He inherited it from my mom. One day, back when we were kids, we were walking home from school, and he started jumping up and grabbing at this tree. I asked him what he was doing, and he jumped up one more time and held out his hand and said, “I found $10!” Lucky little….. I inherited my dad’s non-money finding genes. Thanks, Dad!
Anyway, I hadn’t talk to my brother in a while. Last night, Michael calls me. He leaves a message on our phone, and I’m thinking it kind of sounds like Dan’s dad. I go to the answering machine, and find that it’s Michael. So, I pick up the phone as he tells my answering machine that he just installed his first toliet. So we talked for a bit, which is always nice. He moved into a house with his friend. The friend’s dad owns the house, and said Michael couldn’t move in until he paid first, last and deposit. Michael and his friend did some work on the house, and the dad was so impressed Michael is living there now, and still hasn’t made the required payments. He pays $350 a month in rent. That is unheard of in California. Seriously, my brother is lucky. And, if he does work on the house, he gets another $100 knocked off his rent. He’s a hard worker, so I think that he will get the discount every month.
But, the way I figure it, I am pretty lucky too. If I ever need a toliet installed, I can call my brother. And maybe I’ll put $10 in a tree for him as payment! That’s what family is for, after all!
Oh, he also did a door frame! A double win for me, if I need new doors one day! I am a lucky sister to have a brother who is a handyman!
Send him over here. Not only did one of the kids plug up the toilet, but I need some new doors too. I’ve even got the $10!

You are so lucky!!! I have one brother who is good at not keeping his pants on and consequently has 5 kids with 3 moms and the other brother is good at borrowing money from me at least twice every month!
